Crain Caton & James is pleased to announce Stephen Uzick has joined our Real Estate and Corporate, Business Transactions and Tax Practices as an associate. Stephen has advised and assisted with a wide variety of commercial leases, including negotiating and drafting leases, amendments, assignments, and terminations. He is experienced in reviewing, analyzing, preparing, and negotiating various agreements and instruments relating to leasing or other forms of occupancy including letters of intent, ground leases, assignments, subleases, renewals and amendments, workouts in and out of bankruptcy, SNDAs, estoppels, license agreements, temporary workspace agreements, and other similar instruments and agreements.

Before joining Crain Caton & James, Stephen worked inhouse for several property management companies.  This allowed him to see the world from the perspective of the lessor/lessee and buyer/seller.  He is comfortable dealing with operating budgets, the daily management and operations of budgets, overseeing maintenance, repair and capital projects, and handling disputes.
