Crain Caton & James is pleased to announce that Amber A. Homolka has joined the Estate, Trusts and Wealth practice area as Of Counsel.  In addition to preparing wills, trusts, power of attorney, health care directive and other documents necessary for estate planning, she works with clients in designating beneficiaries, trustee(s) and executor(s) necessary to implement client wishes.

Amber is skilled in estate planning but also represents fiduciaries, such as executors and trustees, in carrying out official duties, preparing death tax returns, settling estates and administering trusts, and handling the landscape of legal issues that may arise following death of a loved one.

Amber worked as a tax consultant for Ernst and Young’s Private Client Services, where she researched and wrote memoranda in support of income and estate positions for high-net-worth individuals.  She carried this experience to a Wall Street investment bank where she worked in Private Investment Management supporting individual clients and securities clients. This experience positioned her to advise high net worth clients in their estate and wealth planning.
