Crain Caton & James’ very own paralegal, Alison Thompson, has been recognized with the Board Certification by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS).  This accolade is a testament to her dedication, expertise, and commitment to the field of Family Law.

Alison successfully passed a five hour test, which assessed her knowledge and proficiency in Family Law.  The TBLS also considered her experience, case involvement, continuing legal education, attorney recommendations, and written essay.  This accomplishment is noteworthy when you consider the competitive landscape of paralegal professionals in Texas.  While there are thousands of paralegals practicing in Texas, there are fewer than 400 individuals recognized by the TBLS.
