Greg DeVries is an experienced banking and financial institutions litigator. He frequently advises clients in matters involving the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), as well as suits based on alleged violations of the Texas Constitution’s provisions on home equity lending, and other Federal and State statutes. He also assists banks needing counsel on UCC 3.4 and 4 matters. Greg represents financial institution clients including national banks, mortgage lenders and servicers, auto finance companies, and other consumer financial service providers in state and federal courts.
His prior positions, including a Clerkship with the Texas Attorney General’s General Litigation Division, allowed Greg to acquire experience in corporate and contract law, employment law, and real estate law.
While in college, Greg was a sportswriter, sports editor, and editor-in-chief for The Baylor Lariat.
