Lisa Loewenstein is Of Counsel in the firm’s Estates, Trusts, and Wealth Planning practice group, where she concentrates her practice on estate and wealth planning, trust matters, and probate administration for high net worth individuals and families throughout Houston and Texas.
Lisa is committed to building meaningful relationships with her clients, taking the time to understand their personal goals and family dynamics to ensure that their intentions are thoughtfully and precisely captured in their estate planning documents.
She counsels clients on the preparation and execution of wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and related planning instruments. Lisa works with clients to develop strategies aimed at reducing federal estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax exposure, including lifetime gifting and intra-family transfer planning.
In the area of probate administration, Lisa assists executors and administrators with the day-to-day requirements of estate administration, including the preparation and filing of required court documents, estate tax returns, fiduciary income tax returns, and related forms and filings under the Texas Estates Code.
