Houston,TX, October 6, 2020 – Crain Caton and James is pleased to announce that Adrienne Randle Bond has joined the Firm as a shareholder in the Corporate, Business and Tax Area. Adrienne’s dynamic career includes more than 35 years of working with E&P and oil field companies as well as digital start-up organizations and entrepreneurs. She has successfully closed transactions in excess of $1B, hired and managed legal teams, and built legal departments from the ground up. She is best known for her capabilities in the areas of Energy, Finance, Securities, and LLC law. She provides clients with legal advice in E&P Acquisitions, Equity and Debt Financing, Asset Acquisitions and Sales, Private Placements, SEC Compliance, Employment Law, Joint Operating Agreements, Gas Purchase Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and Farmout and Participation Agreements.
Adrienne has published many scholarly articles and papers throughout her career. She is a frequent author and lecturer on corporate and securities law issues and has served as Adjunct Professor of Corporate Law and Securities Law at the University of Houston Law Center. She is a past President of the Women’s Finance Exchange and has been a member of the State Bar of Texas’ Corporate Law, Continuing Education, and Venture Capital Committees. She is also a member of the Limited Liability Company, Partnership and Unincorporated Entity Committee, and the Private Equity Venture Capital Committee of the American Bar Association. In 2017, she was named one of Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women by Houston Woman Magazine.
Licensed to practice in Texas (since 1980) and Colorado (since 2009), Adrienne is a magna cum laude graduate of Rice University and graduated Columbia University Law School as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She is fluent in English and Spanish, is competent in French, and has studied Portuguese, Greek, and Italian.
