“The essence of life is giving,” states Jim McIngvale, (Mattress Mac), in his latest Holiday message to Houston.  Attorneys and employees of Crain Caton & James wholeheartedly agree with his belief.

It has become a firm tradition to embrace the Adopt-an-Angel program, which is one of the Houston Young Lawyers Foundation’s (HYLF’s) cornerstone events that rallies the Houston legal community to meet the needs and provide gifts to some of Houston’s neediest children.  HYLF works with local elementary schools and charities and coordinates the donation of gifts—bikes, toys, clothing, and school supplies—purchased by attorneys and staff at 65 Houston law firms and legal departments for more than 2,200 children.  HYLF then delivers these gifts to the various schools and charities and even provides a Santa Clause to hand out the gifts. Over the last few years by adopting 75-90+ children, CCJ has made a reputation for itself as being the little engine that could.

We are proud that over 90 angels were adopted by individuals at Crain Caton & James.  Participation in this program delivers incredible joy to the recipients and donors.  Please enjoy pictures of our wrapping and delivery events.
